Projects
My interests are in projects that have to do with databases, PHP, language, information, and automation. During the
last 15 years, I have implemented many projects, a few are listed here.
Polliglot
PolliGlot is a multi-lingual translation software for Palm OS. It supports over
40 different languages and uses my own developed compression algorithm to store a language database in the smallest
amount of Palm memory without impeding the speed.
POV-Ray
I use
the persistence of vision
raytracer to visualize organic molecules (phthalocyanines), see my
POV-ray Image Gallery for details.
Resource Scheduler
For the
Schuller Group, I implemented a
resource scheduler to schedule physics equipment in the Schuller lab.
It was based on phpScheduleIt using PHP, and MySQL.
Physics Q&A
As a teaching assistant at the
University
of Minnesota, Twin Cities, I developed
a Perl script to ask physics questions and store an answer with the question.
